Hrazdan TPP 5th power unit to be put into operation today

The 5th power unit of Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant (TPP) will be put into full operation today as part of the third Armenian-Russian Interregional Conference titled “Russia. Armenia. Customs Union” that will be attended by Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin.

Hrazdan TPP’s 5th power unit was put into experimental-industrial operation in January 2012. The modern technical solutions make it a unique construction not only in Armenia but also in the region.
