Armenian GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian (Brazil) scored 7 points out of 9 and took 10th place among 425 participants at the chess open in Bogota, Colombia. 

Mekhitarian was only half a point behind the winner, GM Evgeny Romanov (Russia), armchess.am said.
