Haykakan Zhamanak: Convict on hunger strike for 32 days

30-year-old Artak Karapetyan, who is serving a 15-year prison term in Artik prison for beating to death an ambulance doctor in Gyumri, is still on hunger strike, Haykakan Zhamanak writes. 

Aramais Karapetyan, the father of the convict, said this yesterday. He noted that his son has been on hunger strike for 32 days and will not end it until he gets an answer to his application from the Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office and Shirak Regional Prosecutor’s Office. Artak Karapetyan said, “Death or justice,” according to his father.
