Armenian GM Varuzhan Akobian (U.S.) scored 6.5 points out of 9 to share 1st-8th places among 78 participants at North American Օpen in Las Vegas, U.S. Akobian took 6th place with additional points.

GM Giorgi Kacheishvili (Georgia) won the tournament, armchess.am said.
