Theater director Armen Mazmanyan dies

Theater director and actor Armen Mazmanyan has died today at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center in Yerevan. He was suffering from a serious illness. Armen Mazmanyan was the rector of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema. 

A government commission will be set up in connection with Armen Mazmanyan’s death, according to the Education and Science Ministry.

On December 19, the Armenian government made a decision to allocate 10,000 euros for Mazmanyan’s treatment abroad.
