Iravunk: Washington unhappy with John Heffern’s work

Washington is unhappy with the work of U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern because he failed to prevent Armenia from joining the Customs Union and absolutely failed the opposition to it after the respective decision was made by the Armenian President, Iravunk newspaper writes, citing a well-informed source close to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

According to the newspaper’s source, in all likelihood, Heffern will resign office in the second half of May.
