Zhoghovurd: Rosneft to buy ENA

Russia’s Rosneft intends to buy the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC, Zhoghovurd newspaper writes, citing reliable sources. A final agreement was reached on March 1 and a preliminary deal was signed. ENA is owned by Russians so the deal will be concluded without the consent of Armenian authorities. 

According to the newspaper, electricity prices will go up in Armenia following the sale of ENA.

ENA spokeswoman Natalia Sarjanyan, however, refuted this information.
