Armenian PM discusses Customs Union roadmap with EEC representative

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with member of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister Timur Suleymanov who is responsible for the commission’s economic and financial policy, the press service of government reports.  

The two sides discussed the activities of the working groups dealing with the implementation of the roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union. They exchanged views on the discussions concerning services, investments, tax and customs policies, customs duties and intellectual property, summed up the interim results and reached an agreement to continue consultations aimed at developing a coordinated approach in these directions in the near future.

Discussions within working groups are planned to be finished by late March 2014.
