Haykakan Zhamanak: Constitutional Court to make decision on pension law next week

Today the Constitutional Court of Armenia will start examining the constitutionality of the new pension law. According to Haykakan Zhamanak, it is rumored that the court will make a decision next week, probably on Tuesday.

“The point is that ‘I am against’ movement which demands to withdraw the compulsory component from the law has gained strength and the authorities have expressed willingness to discuss the possibility of amending the law,” the newspaper notes, adding that ‘I am against’ will hold a silent protest outside the Constitutional Court on Friday.
