Haykakan Zhamanak: Galust Sahakyan may become parliament speaker

MP Karen Karapetyan whom the authorities intended to put forward as a candidate for parliament speaker flatly refused to hold that office, Haykakan Zhamanak reports, citing reliable sources. 

“In this case Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction head Galust Sahakyan will be proposed as a candidate for parliament speaker. Yesterday our correspondent asked Galust Sahakyan if these rumors are true. He replied, “No one can say anything. No such issue was discussed,”” the newspaper notes.
