168 Hours: Vardan Ayvazyan seeks reappointment as Nature Protection Minister

Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of Armenian National Assembly Vardan Ayvazyan wants to be reappointed as Nature Protection Minister, 168 Hours writes. 

According to the newspaper, Ayvazyan spoke about it with Hovik Abrahamyan, who said that President Serzh Sargsyan opposes his appointment.

In a judgement dated September 5, 2012, the U.S. Southern District Court of New York ordered Vardan Ayvazyan to pay more than $37 million in damages to Global Gold Mining LLC.
