Remembrance Day of the Dead in Armenia

Today Armenia marks the Remembrance Day of the Dead (Merelots), which follows all main religious holidays. 

Yesterday, on April 20, the Armenian Church marked the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Today is a non-working day in Armenia. All churches celebrate the Divine Liturgy and then people visit their relatives’ graves.
