Galust Sahakyan elected speaker of National Assembly

Candidate of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Galust Sahakyan has been elected speaker of the National Assembly in a secret ballot today. 

According to chairman of the Counting Commission Sukias Avetisyan, 106 MPs participated in the vote. 2 ballot papers were invalidated. 3 MPs voted for Hrant Bagratyan and 101 MPs cast their ballot for Galust Sahakyan.
