Tigran Kotanjian finishes 5th in Beirut

Armenian GM Tigran Kotanjian scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took 5th place among 79 participants at the open chess tournament in Beirut, Lebanon. 

He was only half a point behind the winners, GMs Azer Mirzoev (Azerbaijan), Kirill Stupak (Belarus) and Sergei Tiviakov (Netherlands), armchess.am said.
