Karen Movsisyan in Llucmajor

Armenian GM Karen Movsisyan scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took 8th position among 182 participants at the open chess tournament in Llucmajor, Spain. He improved his ranking by 17 positions.

GMs Sergey Fedorchuk (Ukraine) and Aleksander Delchev (Bulgaria) shared 1st-2nd positions with 7.5 points each. Fedorchuk became the tournament winner with additional points, armchess.am reported.
