National Assembly to elect CBA chairman

At this moment, the Armenian National Assembly is discussing the appointment of chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA). The candidacy of current CBA chairman Arthur Javadyan was proposed for the post. According to the Constitution, the President submits the candidature for CBA chairman to parliament. He is to be elected in a secret ballot, for six-year term.
