Tigran Harutyunian takes first prize at World Young Stars tournament

17-year-old IM Tigran Harutyunian (Armenia) took first prize at the World Young Stars tournament in Kirishi, Russia. Harutyunian scored 8 points out of 11, as much as another Armenian chess player, 16-year-old IM David Paravyan (Russia), but Tigran was ahead with additional points. 14-year-old FM Hayk Martirosyan shared 6th-7th positions with 6 points, armchess.am reported.
