Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian President’s invitation was unexpected to Turkey

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation to Turkey’s President may become a reason for the U.S. and EU to press the Turkish leader to accept the invitation to visit Armenia on April 24, 2015, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan told Haykakan Zhamanak.  

According to Demoyan, Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation was unexpected to Turkey, and that is why there is no official response yet from Turkey. “But I have no doubt that it will respond,” he added.
