Haykakan Zhamanak: Mikoyan’s statue disappears from melting house

The bronze statue of Anastas Mikoyan has disappeared from the melting house, Haykakan Zhamanak writes. The melting house employees told Haykakan Zhamanak that the statue has been taken away from there, but did not say who took it and where. 

Neither Yerevan Municipality nor sculptor Gagik Stepanyan, who was in charge of quality control of the statue, were aware that the statue was taken away from the melting house, the newspaper notes.
