Aravot: Yerevan street named after Anastas Mikoyan

Aravot newspaper writes: “While hot discussions go on in Armenian society about fairness of the Yerevan Council of Elders decision to erect a statue to Soviet-era statesman Anastas Mikoyan and arguments are given that he was no better than Stalin, a road sign appeared in Yerevan saying that the street leading from Davitashen Bridge to Yeghvard Highway bears the name of Anastas Mikoyan.”
