Nor Gyugh district of Aleppo declared disaster area

The continuous rocket attacks on Aleppo’s Armenian-populated district Nor Gyugh forced the authorities to declare the district a disaster area, Perio News reports.

The district’s residential buildings, Armenian community’s educational and business centers, seminaries, schools and kindergartens have been destroyed. The residents moved to neighboring districts. Some found shelter in the basement of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church and some went to Latakia.
