Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian MP would ‘show Sambo hold’ to Kiselev

Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent asked Republican MP Mher Sedrakyan what his response to Dmitry Kiselev would be if he had been present at the meeting of the Armenian-Russian parliamentary club. 

“If I had been there, I would show him a Sambo hold,” Sedrakyan said.

He also said he is opposed to the domination of the Russian language over Armenian. “How can it be? Armenian is our mother tongue, while Russian and English can only exist. Our language is Armenian.”
