Azerbaijan keeps violating ceasefire

Tensions remain high on the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops. Azerbaijani forces continue the intensive violations of the ceasefire regime, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry reported.

On August 3-4, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire about 500 times, with over 8,500 shots fired at Armenian frontline positions.

The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army keep control of the situation and take response measures only in cases of extreme necessity.
