Armenian, Azerbaijani Presidents to meet on Aug. 8-9 in Sochi

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will meet on August 8-9 in Sochi, according to Russian media outlets. 

The meeting will take place on the Russian side’s initiative. It will focus on the sharp increase in tensions on the Line of Contact and considerable casualties reported recently.

The two Presidents last met in Vienna on November 19, 2013. Serzh Sargsyan assessed the meeting as normal. The sides agreed to meet again in the future.
