Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 39 times on Line of Contact with Armenia

Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 39 times on the Line of Contact with Armenia on August 6-7, the Armenian Defense Ministry reports. Over 546 shots were fired at Armenian frontline positions from weapons of different calibers. 

The Armenian side returned the fire 8 times, with a total of 232 shots fired.

No casualties were reported on the Armenian side.

The Armenian forces keep the frontline situation under control, observe the ceasefire and take adequate retaliatory measures only in cases of extreme necessity.
