Serzh Sargsyan issues congratulations to emergency workers on professional holiday

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has addressed a congratulatory message to Armenian Emergency Ministry’s workers and veterans on the Emergency Workers’ Day.

The message said, in part,

“The establishment of your Ministry was an imperative for our country. The Emergency Ministry is one of the young ministries in our republic but it has already become fully established and it enjoys the respect and confidence of our people.

“The achievements and progress are also obvious in the formation of a new culture of management, particularly crisis management, effective interdepartmental cooperation and full use of the country’s potential in resolving the problems.

“It is the duty of the Ministry’s patriotic workers to protect our citizens not only from disasters, but also from the dangers of the unfinished war.”
