Zhoghovurd: Armavir governor launches fundraising for Iraq’s Yazidis

Governor of Armavir province of Armenia Ashot Ghahramanyan has instructed the heads of all the communities to collect funds to help Yazidis in northern Iraq, Zhoghovurd writes. 

The governor confirmed the report when contacted by Zhoghovurd. “Yes, the heads of all the communities are collecting funds. A bank account has been opened for this purpose. Everyone helps as much as they can,” Ghahramanyan said.
