Shahnazaryan: Armenia’s participation in NATO Summit ruined Turkey’s plans

Armenia’s participation in the NATO Summit, on September 4-5 in Wales, was extremely important, David Shahnazaryan, senior analyst at the Regional Studies Center, said at a discussion on “Influence of NATO Summit on Armenia and South Caucasus.”

In his words, Armenia’s participation in the NATO Summit ruined Turkey’s plans as well as demonstrated that Yerevan is capable of taking independent steps.

The expert underscored the importance of close ties between Georgia and NATO, explaining that this will increase the role of NATO and boost stability in our region.
