Yesterday’s incident on the Line of Contact between the Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops, when senior lieutenant Mher Hakobyan, 24, was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper, was Baku’s response to U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick, Nagorno-Karabakh President’s spokesman David Babayan told Haykakan Zhamanak.

James Warlick spoke about the start of a new stage in the negotiation process the day before in Yerevan.
