Haykakan Zhamanak: Gyumri Mayor takes vacation

Mayor of Gyumri city Samvel Balasanyan took a vacation on Tuesday. He will be back to work on October 20, Haykakan Zhamanak writes. Balasanyan’s spokesman confirmed the report.

“It is noteworthy that a rally of the three non-government parties will take place in Gyumri today. A question arises: whether Balasanyan, a member of Prosperous Armenia Party, will join the rally. Apparently Balasanyan decided to keep out of harm’s way,” the newspaper notes.
