168 Hours: Armenian parliament to approve treaty on accession to EEU by early 2015

The Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations will consider the treaty on Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) once it is submitted to the parliament, the Committee’s chairman told 168 Hours in response to the newspaper’s question.

Artak Zakaryan is convinced, however, that the National Assembly will consider and approve the treaty by the end of this year.

“The parliament will approve the treaty by the beginning of 2015,” he said.
