Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: Vayk Mayor may be appointed Vayots Dzor Governor

Governor of Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province Edgar Ghazaryan was relieved of his post by a government decision on Thursday. By a presidential decree, he was appointed Ambassador to Poland.

According to Chorrord Ishkhanutyun, the issue of a candidate for Vayots Dzor Governor is being discussed in the government circles. The newspaper’s sources say that Mayor of Vayk, Republican Party of Armenia member Harutyun Sargsyan is the most likely candidate for the position.
