WB official says Armenia’s accession to EEU will not affect WB policies

The World Bank (WB) will not change its policies after Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Laura E. Bailey, World Bank Country Manager in Armenia, told reporters on Thursday.

She noted that the World Bank wants Armenia to be as flexible as possible while dealing with its trade partners.

Separate trade agreements are not changing the World Bank’s commitments, Mrs Bailey added.
