Zhoghovurd: Authorities and non-government forces to announce start of talks soon

The prediction of Zhoghovurd daily that the authorities and the non-government forces will soon announce the start of negotiations came true on Tuesday. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan issued a statement offering the opposition forces to discuss the 12 demands by the non-coalition parties.

“On the same day, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan convened a meeting of the non-government parliamentary factions, but no agreement was reached at the meeting and the factions said they had different positions. It is beyond any doubt, however, that this is just a tactical move and they will soon announce the start of practical talks,” Zhoghovurd writes.
