Zhamanak: Ruling circles discuss amendments to Electoral Code

The ruling circles (Republican Party) are discussing the possibility of making amendments to the Electoral Code, Zhamanak writes. The majority representation system is the matter under discussion. They are discussing not a transition to proportional representation, but the issue of partly reducing the majority representation seats.

There are 41 majority election districts in Armenia, with 41 MPs elected through majority system.
