Armenian parliament does not pass bill on protection of personal data

The Armenian National Assembly on Thursday failed to pass a bill on making additions to the Law on Protection of Personal Data.

The ruling Republican Party could not ensure a sufficient number of MPs to vote for the bill and it received only 61 votes for.
