Armenia marks Bank Employee Day

Today Armenia marks Bank Employee Day. In 2003, Armenian government proclaimed Bank Employee Day, to be celebrated on November 22.

November 22 also celebrates the anniversary of the national currency Armenian dram.

Armenian dram (translated as money) has been circulated since November 22, 1993. 1 dram includes 100 lumas, while luma coins are not used now.

On the Bank Employee Day, representatives of the banking system receive congratulations from the government and local authorities.
