Hraparak: Carrefour to cause price hike in Armenia

The opening of a Carrefour hypermarket in Yerevan will create serious problems, including for business entities. According to Hraparak, the hypermarket demands huge discounts and pays from suppliers.

“SAS and Yerevan City supermarkets, which are the biggest ones in Yerevan, have also decided to make similar demands to suppliers. This will lead to a sharp increase in prices as suppliers and producers cannot lower the prices at the expense of their profits,” the newspaper writes.
