Galatasaray have sacked former Italy World Cup coach Cesare Prandelli following a string of poor results that culminated in their exit from the Champions League, according to Sky Sports.

The club's deputy president Abdurrahim Albayrak announced that the Turkish club had decided to part ways with Prandelli a day after the club's 2-0 loss to Anderlecht - a result that eliminated the team from the Champions League and meant they also failed to qualify for the Europa League.
