Armenian PM, French Ambassador discuss bilateral cooperation

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador of France to Armenia Jean-François Charpentier, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

Hovik Abrahamyan expressed confidence that the diplomat will contribute to the deepening of Armenian-French relations.

Mr Charpentier said for his part that being appointed ambassador to Armenia, which is France’s friendly nation, is a great honor for him, and he will make every effort to develop bilateral cooperation in various areas.

The interlocutors underscored high-level political dialogue between Armenia and France and noted a necessity to realize the trade and economic potential.

Hovik Abrahamyan said that the Armenian government will assist with the implementation of projects to strengthen Armenian-French ties.
