Citing well-informed sources, Haykakan Zhamanak writes that ex-Mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan may be promoted to a high post in the near future.

The newspaper notes that the ruling elite is still undecided on the post to offer Ghukasyan who is known for his eccentric character. The post of head of Shirak province’s tax department could be a possible option.
