Azerbaijan hands over captive family to Armenia

Azerbaijan has handed over to Armenia an Armenian family that had crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on January 10, 2010. 

The Armenian Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed this information to Panorama.am.

“They were repatriated with the mediation of the ICRC. The handover took place in an area between Ijevan and Gazakh. They were handed over to the Armenian authorities,” Zara Amatuni, a representative of ICRC, said.
