Army mortality rate declines sharply – Armenian Prosecutor General

The mortality rate in the Armed Forces of Armenia has decreased sharply, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan told reporters on Monday.

“We have sufficient grounds to assert that there is a stable decline in the army mortality rate,” Mr Kostanyan said, adding that they are making every effort to not just reduce, but eliminate army deaths.

The law enforcement bodies and the Armenian Ministry of Defense continue taking effective measures, according to Kostanyan.
