Haykakan Zhamanak: EP official to visit Armenia

Vice President of the European Parliament Richard Charnetsky will arrive in Armenia on Friday at the invitation of head of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, according to Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

“The Armenian authorities, using certain links, are trying to maintain relations with Europe after joining the Eurasian Economic Union and this visit should be viewed in this context,” the newspaper comments.
