Haykakan Zhamanak: Life prisoners to be moved to Armavir penitentiary

The newly built Armavir penitentiary institution, located in Chobankyara town, near Etchmiadzin, will begin receiving the first convicts in January 2015. They will be transferred from other penitentiary institutions, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.

Convicts serving life term will be moved to Armavir penitentiary as well in the course of time. Currently, Armenia’s life prisoners, a total of 104 convicts, serve their term at Nubarashen penitentiary institution.
