Turkey again tries to rewrite history - Markarov

Turkey is again trying to adapt the history, political analyst Alexander Markarov said at a press conference on Thursday, commenting on Turkey’s plans to mark the centenary of the Battle of Gallipoli on April 24, 2015 – the date of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“Despite all historical realities and events, Turkey is once more trying to adapt the history and use it for its own purposes,” the expert stressed.
