Villager killed as Azerbaijan shells Armenian settlements

Azerbaijani forces shelled the Armenian settlements in Tavush region throughout last night, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, told Panorama.am. The Armenian side returned fire, he added.

A resident of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur village, Vanik Ghukasyan, 61, was killed in the Azerbaijani shelling.

On February 4, an 85-year-old resident of Movses village, Tavush region, Levon Andreasyan, was wounded by Azerbaijani sniper.
