Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: Samvel Karapetyan to buy Electric Networks of Armenia?

Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan intends to buy the Electric Networks of Armenia, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun reports, citing sources.

The Electric Networks of Armenia, which now makes part of the Russian Joint Stock Company Inter RAO, has accumulated debts of 300 million dollars over the past years and Karapetyan has begun talks with Inter RAO to buy the company in exchange for the debts. 

The Electric Networks of Armenia has begun inventory, but there is no final decision yet.
