Armenian brandy exports decline – Winemakers Union head

A 25-27 percent decline of Armenian brandy exports was observed in 2014, Avag Harutyunyan, chairman of the Union of Winemakers of Armenia, told reporters on Friday.

In his words, the export decline is due to the depreciation of the Russian ruble, and no positive tendency was observed so far this year.

Avagyan also said that 3 percent of Armenian wines are exported to Europe and 1.5 percent are exported to the United States.
