Zhoghovurd: UK Prime Minister not to attend Armenian Genocide centenary events

British Prime Minister David Cameron will not visit Armenia to participate in the events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide centenary, British Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach told Zhoghovurd. 

“PM Cameron has responded to President Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation, acknowledging the importance of the centennial for the Armenian nation and apologizing for not being able to attend the commemoration events,” said the envoy.
